This diet brings out the exceptional flavor that makes these turkeys a festive favorite.
Each bird is expertly dry-plucked for a beautiful finish, then hung for a minimum of 10 days to enhance both flavor and texture. What is Dry Plucking?
This traditional method removes feathers without hot water, preserving the meat’s succulence. After the main feathers are removed, the bird is dipped in warm wax, then peeled to catch the finer feathers. Some small pen feathers, especially black ones, may remain, but they’ll frazzle away during cooking and are perfectly safe—no need to worry about removing them!
